A bright shelf for work in progress, with every draft within reach
Studio Shelf keeps large, layered creative files in sync and remembers every stage they pass through. Step back to yesterday's linework, label a milestone, or send a client a tidy proof, all without renaming files to final-v7-really-final.
Everything Studio Shelf brings along
Version ribbons
Every save becomes a soft layer on a ribbon. Slide back to any moment and restore it as a copy or as the current file.
Built for big files
Large, layered and high-resolution files upload in the background and resume cleanly if your connection drops.
Milestone labels
Mark a version as first sketch, client approved or print ready so important stages are easy to find again.
Proof links for clients
Share a view-only link to a specific version, with an optional password and expiry date.
Shared asset shelves
Keep brushes, fonts, palettes and reference boards in one place that every collaborator can reach.
Offline sketchbook
Pin the folders you need on the move and they stay on your device, syncing again once you are back online.
Four steps from first file to feeling settled
- 1
Set up your shelf
Create a shelf per project or per client and point it at the folder where you already keep your work.
- 2
Work exactly as before
Open, edit and save in your usual tools. Studio Shelf notices each change and tucks it away as a new version.
- 3
Mark the milestones
Label the versions that matter. A short note on each makes it simple to find the right stage months later.
- 4
Share a proof
Send a view-only link to the exact version you want feedback on, and keep working on the next one.

Questions about Studio Shelf
Does restoring an old version overwrite my current work?
Not unless you choose that. By default a restored version is saved as a copy, so the current file is never lost.
How long are old versions kept?
The free Seedling plan keeps thirty days of history. Larger plans keep versions for longer.
Can clients comment on a proof?
Guests can leave a short note on a proof link. They do not need an account to do so.
